If you're fed up with your employee's behavior, this is how you legally terminate

And it protects you and the company from improper lay off lawsuits. Because you'll probably offer more than your guideline package, you should ask everyone, low and medium risk, to sign a separation settlement with a release of claims. Employee termination forms are a substantial part of firing a worker. I just do not know what to do about handling difficult employees such as John. Frequently, this takes the form of workers who are comedians and spend more time being funny than doing work. Before you know it, you'll have an entire crew of problem employees rather than just one! Do you have trouble dealing with employee disobedience? Keep the exit interview brief and avoid saying too much, as anything you say can be used against you later if the employee decides to file a suit.
